Abigail Waters
Voice Over Artist
About.
I’m a UK-based audiobook narrator, voice actor, and spoken word artist with formal training in performance and a strong background in live and recorded voice work. I completed a two-year performing arts course, followed by a year specialising in physical theatre, developing strong skills in characterisation, emotional truth, breath control, and sustained performance. Alongside this, I’m an experienced spoken word artist, regularly performing and recording work that demands clarity, rhythm, and authentic delivery. I’m comfortable working both in studio and live environments and am used to recording with professional, industry-standard equipment. I work from a broadcast-quality home setup and deliver clean, consistent audio that meets ACX technical standards. I bring a focused, collaborative approach to every project and pride myself on reliability, clear communication, and meeting deadlines. My aim is always to serve the story and create audiobooks that feel engaging, natural, and easy to listen to for long periods of time.
I’m a trained performer with a strong foundation in both acting and storytelling. I spent two years studying performing arts at The Hub Theatre School and hold a degree in Creative Writing, which led me to write and perform my own spoken word work. I also trained in physical theatre and performance at The Actors Space just outside Barcelona, developing presence, expression, and connection with an audience. I’m a natural performer with a warm, engaging voice that draws listeners in and brings stories vividly to life.
